The renowned women's health advocacy organization Our Bodies Ourselves has named ABSOLUTELY SAFE director Carol Ciancutti-Leyva a Womens' Health Hero.
Carol has been honored with this distinguished award for her commitment to educating women and men about the safety of breast implants. For over a decade, Carol has dedicated herself to keeping the debate about breast implant safety active. Since the completion of the film ABSOLUTELY SAFE, Carol has screened the film around the country and spoken to thousands of young women and men about the realities of breast implants.
The Our Bodies Ourselves Award Nomination says it best:
